Danielle Porpora 2, RN

Danielle has not only gone above and beyond for patients but also for her coworkers. A patient of mine needed an important medication to help prevent the placement of an indwelling catheter. Unfortunately, the patient didn’t have anyone to get this medication for him and our pharmacy did not have it available. Danielle demonstrated compassion, collaboration, and so much more during this situation. She collaborated with the doctor to get this medication prescribed to a nearby pharmacy and get this medication for my patient which helped alleviate his anxiety and fear regarding the catheter. I cannot thank her enough for always working above the line and helping her coworkers.
