Danielle is nothing short of an exceptional nurse. She made the worst and most stressful experience of my life so much more bearable by being so kind and attentive to me and my son. At a time when I was at my lowest, she was the difference between breaking and making it through. I couldn’t bear to be away from my son for even a quick meal, but knowing Danielle was on shift gave me the confidence to go home and sleep for the first time in a week. Even though my son was one of the more stable patients on the unit, she was still so attentive. Always rounding on him, checking to make sure his needs were met, feeding and changing him regularly, getting me needed supplies, and on and on. When her assignments were heavy and she was at her busiest, she still made us a priority.
