Danielle Sabroe, RN

I was admitted in the hospital. I was in a depressed mood from not being able to go home to my young children. I didn’t want to eat or really do anything, but Danielle wasn’t having it. She went out of her way to make me laugh and not feel so down. She told me jokes and chatted with me about my kids and brought me out of my depression. Every night that she was working, she made sure that I had a smile on my face instead of a frown. I looked forward to seeing her each night. She would make sure I knew what was going on. Afraid of losing my sight, she would just listen and show the compassion I needed at that time. She went above and beyond and made my stay so much easier. I had never felt so much compassion from one nurse as I did with her. I wish I could do more to thank her.
