Nurse Danielle was nominated by a very grateful family whose baby had open heart surgery. They felt completely comfortable and happy with the care that Danielle provided them as a whole. Their baby and Danielle had a very special relationship, to the point where she was most happy and consolable when Danielle cared for her. The baby's first cooing came when Danielle was with her at the bedside. It is because of the exceptional care that nurse Danielle gave this baby that she was selected as the DAISY Award recepient for this month. Congratulations!
