Danielle Stanger has always been a kind and compassionate nurse but today she displayed a true act of kindness for her patient. This particular patient had been struggling to get a medication covered by her insurance. Dani felt so compelled to help this patient that she left work on her lunch break to go to multiple pharmacies just to locate a medication for her. This medication was not covered by the patient's insurance so Dani paid for this very expensive medication out of her own pocket. She also made sure the patient was unaware that she had to pay for it so as not to make the patient feel bad. Dani did not do this for recognition, in fact, she was very reluctant to admit to her coworkers that she had to pay for it. She did this out of the kindness of her heart and is a constant example of what it means to serve others selflessly. Thank you Dani!
