Danielle Stauffer, RN

My wife, A passed in August. As her husband of 31 years, my life has been upside down since. Only through the support and love of others have I been able to continue this past month. RN, Dani Stauffer, has reached out on several occasions to ensure I was doing okay. During A’s hospital stay on the 5th floor, Dani provided wonderful care and was a great advocate for A. She laughed, she listened (when needed) and she cried with A on many occasions. It was comforting when I knew A was being cared for by Dani. On one of A’s last nights, Dani stayed beyond her shift to ensure A was comfortable and to help get her beyond anxious moments. I so much appreciated this display of passion that Dani provided and hope that she will be recognized with the DAISY Award!
