Wow!! I helped train this new nurse less than a year ago. Yet, when I came into the ED with a collapsed lung, Danielle acted with a level of competence far exceeding many seasoned nurses I know. I never questioned her capabilities, but more important to me was her compassion. She would assist the doctor and then scoot over to the opposite side of the stretcher and squeeze my hand. She did this repeatedly that evening and stayed past the end of her shift to keep me and my husband assured. This girl is not just a light for nursing, she is a beacon!
