Danielle Thompson, RN

Danielle Thompson, nurse at the Emergency Department at Williamsport Regional Medical Center, was nominated by a patient's spouse. "Danielle was one of my husband's nurses while he was recently hospitalized. Due to complications, she could not utilize my husband's port for blood draws, but she was able to get the blood she needed her first try through his arm. After the draw, Danielle came in multiple times to check on him, seeing to his needs and answering all of our questions. She made us feel cared for and at ease. She even came back at the end of her shift to say goodbye and let us know who our next nurse would be. She is an exceptional person and nurse."
