The coronavirus pandemic has affected our lives in ways we could not have imagined before March of 2020. Living our hospital mission, “We are committed to the care and improvement of human life,” has never been truer for our DAISY Award Honoree, Danielle Twyford. Her perseverance, dedication, leadership, and fierce patient and family advocacy prompted the nomination by Danielle’s ICU Director.

When describing Danielle, the Director gushes about her ability to connect with families during their darkest times and always maintains an attitude of “Yes, we can do that,” making hard times easier for those losing their loved ones. Danielle is constantly there to support her patients with care and compassion. Her dedication as a leader for her team makes challenging shifts possible. We cannot be more grateful for you, Danielle!
