V came in with excruciating pain and admitted for a few days. V stated that Danielle was an absolutely amazing RN and not once did V have to use the call button. Danielle was always in the room when she stated she would arrive to check on V. V stated that no matter how much pain there was, Danielle knew how to make V smile and really cared about V's comfort level. V stated that Danielle is to be considered a model nurse because no matter how busy Danielle was she always had a smile on her face and made the patient feel that they were cared for at all times. Danielle even went above and beyond contacting the hospital's pain management center to discuss V's pain and how to manage the situation.
Not only did Danielle take care of V, but V's fiancé stayed and Danielle always make sure that V's fiancé was comfortable and all needs were met as well. V's fiancé said Danielle took care of V as if V was her only patient. V had surgery while visiting and Danielle stayed after her shift to ensure that the surgery went well and V was okay. Danielle is a model nurse and made V's pain level that was a 9-10 feel more manageable and less stressful.
