My husband came to the ER around 8pm and Danyelle was his nurse. He has a lot of chronic medical conditions, so we had been to the ER multiple times. While most of the staff have been wonderful, Danyelle's dedication was over the top! I know that we were not her only patients that night, but her attentiveness made us feel like we were. Whenever my husband cried out in pain, I went to find her and she was always Johnny-on-the-spot with whatever was needed. Whether it be medication, nudging the doctor to us get answers sooner, or even stalling his move to a room upstairs just 5 minutes to allow me to run home and get some things so I could tell him goodnight before he was admitted. My husband's case was not a pleasant one, yet she always came into the room with a cheerful attitude that bolstered my spirits, even as I was worried sick for my husband. Even when some of the equipment failed and it caused her great frustration, she was always positive and proactive about making sure my husband was ok. I feel like this explanation is inadequate to describe the great care that she had given. Obviously she loves her job! I thank her for personally encouraging me during what was a very difficult night.
