Daphne L Williams, LPN

At any given moment you can walk through infusion therapy and can almost guarantee that the room will be filled with laughter. A warm and cheerful "Hello" greets every person who comes through that door. When Daphne walks through in the mornings, her "Hello Everyone" precedes her. You never know what adventures working with her will get you into. If you know, you know. She is one of a kind and she is always making sure our patients are comfortable and feel at home when they come through our door until they leave to go home. I always say we are family down here, and Daphne makes sure everyone is included. She always recognizes everyone on their birthday and always checks on everyone when they are feeling unwell. I've witnessed her give a pedicure to a patient in need of some TLC. I have also been present when she would gather us all in prayer over patients who were very sick, scared, or needed some emotional support. I've leaned on her support myself when I've had hard times at home, and I could feel the peace around me as she prayed over ma and my family. To know her is to love her and Floyd is blessed to have such a wonderful and devoted nurse for the past 33 years.
