Funny, not too often do we become faced with life-and-death situations, but in my case, it certainly did come up. Having the right professionals in tow, as I have witnessed, truly makes the difference between life and death. Not only do the physical aspects of health care come into play, but the psychological aspects and tools loomed quite large in my overall healing process. I've never come that close to my own death before and I was clearly shaken to the point of being broken. Darby, besides addressing all of my physical needs and helping my body heal properly, also walked me out of a long, dark psychological tunnel that unattended would have marked the very end of me.
