Darcie is definitely one of the nicest nurses I have ever met. She was my nurse during the birth of my daughter. I was extremely nervous to have a C-section, and Darcie went above and beyond to make me more comfortable and at ease. I was hugging her and holding her hands while getting a spinal, and she was hugging me and squeezing my hands right back. She was just very comforting throughout the whole experience. Not only was she great with me, but she was so kind to my family who was also there, especially my husband and our four-year-old. She made sure they were extremely comfortable and happy and took lots of pictures of all of us in recovery after our daughter was born. Once we were on the mother/baby unit, I was afraid I might not see Darcie again. However, she came and visited me every single day I was there! During one of those visits, I was having a hard moment, and she sat down and talked with me for quite a while, and gave me a big hug before she left. She made my day and made me feel a whole lot better once again. I am so thankful to have met Darcie. I will never ever forget her and wish there was more I could do for her to thank her. My husband and I still talk about how great she was. Darcie made a great impact on the birth of our baby, and our life too. Anyone who gets to have her as their nurse is extremely lucky.
