I can not think of a more deserving Nurse Leader to be the inaugural recipient of our DAISY Nurse Leader.
Darcie is the DAISY and Sunflower Coordinator for Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and continues to ensure these recognition programs are alive and well at our institution. Each celebration is concise, celebratory, and special for our team members.
Darcie encapsulates what a DAISY Nurse Leader should be every day through many other initiatives. As the campus CLABSI Nurse Leader Lead, she follows through on deliverables and initiatives to ensure our teams are informed and are doing the best to deliver highly-reliable quality care for our patients, families, and communities. Darcie also leads team members in the Critical Care Float Pool and the 9 Central ICU. With her leadership, the teams she leads are engaged and drive positive patient and team outcomes for our institution.
I have the privilege of seeing Darcie in action every day. The way Ms. Webb communicates with her team members, colleagues, and leaders is professional, competent, and confident. Darcie mentors new nurse leaders at the bedside and in more formal roles.
