Darcy administered chemo to my 83-year-old mother, who is very distrustful of the medical establishment. Darcy was 100% committed, cheerful and encouraging. She told my sister and me that she was so excited for my mom because this is a cure. She showed us pictures of her adorable new puppy and made a stressful long day seem a bit brighter and more tolerable. My mom was worried that she would leave if the process took longer than Darcy’s shift, and Darcy assured her that she would not leave her and that she would stay with her until everything was done, regardless of the time on the clock and whether her shift was up. At the end she gave my mom a hug and said she would be thinking of her. My mom said she was fun. Thank you, Darcy.
