After our youngest daughter was born, she had a stay in the NICU due to prematurity and a few other complications. While all the nurses were great, Darian really went above and beyond. The NICU was a scary experience, but Darian always was rooting for our daughter and made it very personal even though we were not her only patient. She would celebrate the small successes, not dwell on the set back, and helped in every way possible. Darian reached out for resources and referrals for our little one, made sure we had all the documents needed for when we were discharged. She always had a "light at the end of the tunnel" mentality.

Darian was kind, caring, and always asked what my husband or I needed. I constantly heard, "you're doing great mama" when coming in exhausted for 3 am feeds, or when I was worried about our daughter's nutrition, or anything else. She made those very long days seem totally worth it. She is definitely something special!
