Darla Bakker, LPN

Darla has been the nurse associated with my primary physician for the approximately 3 years I have been seeing him. She is always so caring and kind but even more importantly, on top of things. I could not pick out one specific incident because she is consistently compassionate and professional and informative in our interactions. Currently, I am awaiting direction about a biopsy and the physician has been gone. Although it has been only a week of waiting, Darla has made it a priority to keep me informed and to let me know when the physician will be able to tell me more. This is not an exception. I have complete and total trust in her care and I feel as though I matter to her. I cannot think of a better compliment to any nurse. I wish I could actually put into words the importance of her demeanor. A perfect blending of professionalism and compassion. Clinic-level nurses are so often taken for granted that I realize I have not appreciated them but Darla is so exceptional it is impossible not to see how much she stands out. I am so grateful to her.
