Darla was the daytime nurse for my elderly mother. When my mom arrived at Mercy, she was in critical condition. Darla welcomed our family with sincerity and assured us that Mom would receive the best of her care. She repeatedly comforted our frightened mom, speaking softly and gently touching her hand. Throughout the five night stay, Darla made certain mom received her many medications in a timely manner and kept our invalid mom clean and comfortable – which required regular attention. She also kept the family informed and patiently answered our many questions. Darla is a true servant-hearted, professional nurse. Darla is the perfect representative for Mercy Hospital. It was natural for her to show mercy.
