Darla is very caring and motherly to our younger patients. This particular patient was a young man waiting for an open heart surgery but got an infection and was admitted to our unit.
Darla's commitment to patient care and our unit is un-paralleled. She always goes above and beyond for her patients. One time, she found a stuffed animal for a mentally delayed patient to make him feel safe and alleviate his anxiety.
