Darlene assisted security with talking to a patient who was refusing all nursing service. She had cared for him previously and is the only one who had been able to establish a rapport with the patient. She convinced the patient to change his clothes and Darlene offered to take his clothes home, launder them, and return them to him the next day. She also got him new socks. Darlene went above and beyond to care for this patient.
