Darlene Stell, RN

Darlene is a nurse who consistently goes above and beyond in her daily work with patients and staff. She provides frontline care for a very challenging population of patients who require wound care, compression wraps, and various other nursing interventions to maintain their quality of life. She takes the time to get to know her patients and engages in long-term care, seeing some of her patients for years. To encourage one of her patients to use movement as medicine, she would meet and walk with him in the mornings, creating a purpose and reason to keep going every day. Her commitment to caring is evident every day in her smile and her dedication to her patients and is heartfelt in her love for nursing. She is a shining example of the word "Nurse."
