Rather than being angry at me for advocating for my brother (who was on a vent and unable to speak on his own behalf), Darnella listened to my many concerns and helped to make him comfortable, suctioned him and spent time positioning him. She took the time to explain the numbers and symbols on the vent. She was pleasant and smiled.
