Thank you for putting this 92-year-old patient at ease by pulling up a chair at the bedside to introduce yourself and explain what I should expect during the night, as I had just been admitted to the unit from the Emergency Department. He asked me how I felt and explained what I should expect.

Never before had a nurse shown so much compassion by pulling a chair up to my bedside. This was such a great thing to do, and first for this retired RN. He was so caring throughout the night. Checking on me and reassuring me that all was ok, asking if I needed anything, and to be sure to call him if I did.

I tell this RN to never change; he is a wonderful nurse deserving a hug and a huge thank you from this old nurse. The profession needs more nurses like him. Noble is lucky to have him in their hospital.
