Darrian M Woods, BSN, RN
After three weeks in the hospital, a 44-year-old patient was going to tell his children that he had widely metastatic cancer.
Darrian had taken special care to have the patient dressed in his home clothes, “de-hospitalize” the room, and even had snacks for his children ages 4-15 to try to make this difficult situation as best as it could possibly be.
This thought of the human side of our care shows great empathy and compassion, and Darrian went above and beyond to help this family in a difficult time.
