On my second day, I had the most awesome nurse I have ever known taking care of me, Daryl. I cannot say enough about her. From the moment she walked into my room, she truly became my advocate. She spent so much time listening to me and my daughter about our concerns. She really took notice of everything I was experiencing. She understood what we were feeling. If it was not for her care and intervention, my stay would have ended up being a much more serious problem. Daryl became more than my nurse in the short time I interacted with her. She was my caregiver, my advocate, my friend, and my voice. I cannot put into words how important she was to the care I received.
