Before Daryn's last shift with us, she set us up for success at home. It was evident she was experienced and had the drive to do her job.
My wife waited for her shift to start, knowing she would get treated and cared for. Not only did she help my wife control the pain, but she spoke with the day nurse to help stay ahead of the pain. Daryn offered to give us new parents some sleep by taking the baby for a little bit. We didn't take the offer, but it was much appreciated to know we could.
Daryn came and helped my wife get the baby to latch every time (he wouldn't for us new parents). As a new dad, Daryn made me feel comfortable in my new role. She was very personable and brought much-needed energy and excitement to the room. Our baby had a very loud cry and she told us not to worry, that he just knew what he wanted. May even be a singer when he grows up (L.O.L.)! She always told us how long she would be gone and that she would return when available. We never went long without her checking on us, but never woke us up without need.
Before her last shift with us, she set us up for success at home. It was evident she was experienced and had the drive to do her job. We feel so lucky to have her as our night nurse. She even told us we could call with any questions that might arise within the first few days before we saw our pediatrician. In our time of need, she was our angel on Earth. We will return to Castle Rock Adventist because of her treatment of us.
