Dave is an outstanding professional, mentor, and nurse! His caring and compassionate care is exemplified every day in every patient he cares for. Most recently, Dave was recognized by a patient for his compassion care. The patient stated she was very ill and she was moved to the ICU. During this time Dave was so comforting and caring. During what most patients would describe as a scary time, Dave remained calm, communicated with her, and made her feel safe. The patient stated she knew Dave wasn't just doing a job, "being a nurse it's who he is"!
