Dave Perron, RN

My husband and I spent 48 hours in the ER waiting for a bed to open in Duluth. Dave was my husband's primary nurse during this time. He kept us as comfortable as possible and well-informed. Often my husband became frustrated, and Dave never lost his cool. He was always very kind and understanding. Dave even shared his personal coffee with my husband as the hospital coffee was “subpar” and they joked about that often. All the staff during our long stay was excellent but Dave stood out among them all. My husband sadly did not survive his illness, but we made a promise that I would nominate Dave for a DAISY Award on behalf of both myself and my husband. All I have to say is that Dave deserves to be recognized as one of the best.
