Davetta, or "Dee" as she is known to her colleagues and patients, goes beyond the traditional role of a nurse - she infuses a spirit of fun into her patient care. Whether engaging in conversations, creative activities (like sing-alongs), or a warm smile, she ensures that her patients not only receive medical attention but also experience moments of joy and happiness during their rehabilitation journey.

We've had many nurses throughout our 3+ week stay, but you stood out as exceptional. Your cheerful attitude and ability to answer any questions/and perform any requests made our stay tolerable. Your taste in music is exquisite. Remember the sing-a-longs?! You provided truly top-notch care. Thank you.

Dee has been the most caring and kind person we have encountered here in Morgantown. The care she has given J is that of a family member. She always tries to make J as comfortable as she can. When we have a question, she gets us an answer. Her knowledge of wound care is outstanding. Dee takes time to talk to us and makes it more of a family setting. It's nice to have someone who listens and genuinely cares. Never let her go. The skills she has cannot be duplicated because they come from the heart.
