While I was laboring to give birth to my first baby, I was induced with the Foley balloon. It was really painful, but Daviana made sure I was okay. She was very reassuring and held my hand for comfort and support. While I was contracting, she made sure that I would go on walks so that the contractions wouldn’t hurt as badly. She also helped me with breathing exercises, as well as getting me things to manage the pain, and how to roll around on my birthing ball.

She was always making sure that I was okay or if I needed pain medication. Without her, I wouldn’t have been able to get through the first half of labor, and for that I am thankful. I still remember saying, “I cannot do this,” and she said, “You are already doing it, girl!” Such a powerful and positive message to me that yes, I am doing it, and thanks to her, my baby girl was born!
