David Aguasta, RN

My father, M, has been in the ICU this weekend in very serious condition after a very recent and unexpected advanced cancer diagnosis. David oversaw M's care on Saturday as he began dialysis and not only provided excellent care, but went above and beyond with our family. He carefully explained procedures as he was performing them, and kept us well-informed of changes in M's medical status with calm and thoughtful explanations.

David moves carefully and purposefully throughout the room, bringing with him a calm and reassuring presence for our strung-out, tired, and nervous family. In addition to providing excellent medical care (as so many of M's caregivers have done and continue to do), David is conscientious of the total patient experience, engaging the family, providing comfort, and explaining to M what he's doing in a respectful and kind way. We are so grateful to have had David caring for our loved one during this difficult time.
