David has gone above his call to assist me during my short stay here. During my most difficult time here, David spent a great amount of time with me. He gave me solid advice pertaining to life in general and my recovery from alcohol abuse. He did not just talk at me, he listened intently. He also shared with me and related to me.

This type of action in a unit like this is so extremely valuable and beneficial to a Veteran like me in a situation like this. I felt genuine respect from him without a hint of judgment. This gentleman is a class act and such an asset to this VA Hospital. Being in a hard situation like this was made 100% better by having a nurse like David.
