A couple of weeks ago I had to bring my grandson into the ER in Crisis as he wanted to hang himself. I was trying my best to stay calm as this was not an easy situation to handle. When David entered the room, he was full of comfort in his voice. He was full of care, comfort, and understanding and was just there.
At one point he needed to take blood, and my grandson was afraid he was going to pass out. David talked him through the whole thing which brought laughter instead of fear.
Come 3:00 in the morning this old grandma needed a coffee to keep her awake, David went and made a fresh cup without a question.
His care, comfort, and understanding helped us get through a rough night. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you did for us on our gloomy night, as you made it so much easier to handle knowing that you were there with us.
