David is so on top of things. He knew exactly what was needed for me to be comfortable and technically, he was on top of his game. My wife is a nurse. She was a Director of Nursing too, before retiring. She was impressed too and I was a medic in the army. I told David about my granddaughter, an ICU nurse at this hospital. David even asked me if she knew if I was here in the hospital. I said that she did not know. David asked if I would like for him to let her know and I said, “yes, please.” While on her break, she left the ICU and came to the ED for a short visit. David goes above and beyond.

David is a great charge nurse that works hard on a daily basis to help expedite the offload delays in the ED. He never is rude and always has a great attitude toward patients, his coworkers, and the EMS. He looks out for everyone’s needs and what is best for the patient and the EMS system, getting us back out there as quickly as possible. He consistently is a great person to work with and you can count on him to do the right thing. As an EMS counterpart, he listens and trusts our judgment as pre-hospital providers. He constantly helps other nurses and provides support in all areas of emergency healthcare. Thank you, David!

David is one of the most relaxed and supportive RNs. He is also an amazing charge RN. He never gets flustered or overly excited. He is a much-needed calm in very turbulent times. David always puts others’ needs first, before his own.

I wish I knew his name - the guy with the scorpion on his neck! This guy is amazing! His personality eludes most others and his voice resonates throughout the whole ED. I am not sure how he controls his enthusiasm. He is my favorite!
