I recently had an adverse reaction to an iron infusion and collapsed in the staff parking lot. The next thing I really remember was David standing over me in the hallway trying to get me awake, taking my vitals, noticing my body was cold and covering me with warm blankets. He did my EKG taking care to keep me covered up and preserve my dignity at work, and employed hand warmers (clever!) to get a vein to rise from my cold hand to draw from. I am so grateful. David works under high-stress conditions every day and embodies empathy and compassion.
