I am 11 years old and have never been in a hospital before but I had to go to the ER. I got David Ramirez as my nurse and I was really scared but he calmed me down. I have a big fear of needles but he put my IV in and he got it the first try. I had to get another procedure that includes an IV so I asked if he would come do it, even though I wasn’t in the ER. He calmed me down and got it in. I’m really thankful for him because this was a really scary time and he just made it less scary.
