David Genovese has received 3 nominations despite the fact that most of his patients are still under sedation and often don't even remember their nurses. The nomination that earned his DAISY Award was very touching.

He took the time to explain things, checked the medications to make sure they were correct, and above all not only took care of my husband, but of me too. That was very nice and much appreciated."
