David has a very calming presence and that was of particular comfort to me as a patient. He clearly is extremely educated in the medical profession and took the time to explain to me what medicine he was giving me and what results he expected. He is a night nurse and after the first night, he came to understand that I had some significant belly problems, a ruptured appendix.
The second night he came in, I could hardly believe it! David had brought me figs and dates and Gin-gins from his personal stash. That was clearly over and above the call of duty. I remember sucking on the ginger treats and thanking God for people that care that much about strangers.
