David was my daughter's night nurse on the labor and delivery unit. Not only was his teaching outstanding; but he was exceedingly kind. First and foremost, he treated my daughter with the utmost respect and kindness and did not treat her as anything less than he would his own family. When my daughter was struggling with labor pain, he did not treat her as a "drug seeker" as she has a past history with opioids. David was the ultimate professional and is a credit to the nursing profession. I am an RN myself, and I can spot and appreciate a nurse who treats their patients and families with kindness and respect. My daughter also suffered from a benign tumor on her cervical spine, which was not treated for years, and she was treated disrespectfully as a "drug seeker." His kindness and care mean everything to us. We need more RNs like David!
