I met David Impellizzeri on my first and second stays. David advocated for me, and he has met the criteria for being an extraordinary (DAISY) nurse. He worked together with all his colleagues, is a compassionate caregiver, and he is sensitive to the needs of others. David is very smart in his knowledge he retains in this area of nursing.
We developed a positive relationship right from the start, with the way David was focused on patient and family needs, and he always spoke to us in a way that kept situations "calm" and helped settle things down when needed. David spoke with doctors about all my concerns. Although I verbalize better than I write: I thank you, David, for you and the staff you have here. Thank you for letting me express myself.
