Dave doesn't always work in the ER, but was placed in there today. That was very lucky for me. I came in with a great deal of abdominal pain and lots of vomiting. I was discouraged and a little scared, too, because I had been in the ER just one week prior. His kind bedside manner was very calming, and he worked quickly to get my IV in and the appropriate medication to make me feel better. He monitored me all day despite all of his other patients. I watched him walk quickly back and forth, making sure he gave 100% to every patient. He had to be so tired as fast as he was going, but he never showed it. He is a top-notch nurse. I wish all nurses were as dedicated and efficient as he is. He definitely found his calling in life, and I am lucky that I got to receive his help today.
