Through knowledge and Assessment of Autism, David was instrumental in reconnecting a missing 60-year-old man back to his family in Arizona. This patient would have been otherwise discharged to the community. David recognized the signs of Autism, adjusted the way he was interacting with the patient and made some connections that allowed him to learn more, and help this patient be recovered.
This is an amazing story that promotes, great assessments, and making a connection with our patients. Because of David, this patient was safely returned to his family in another state!
