David let me know that at that time he just couldn't let me leave. He reiterated that I was a danger to myself and others with my BP that high.
While I was working, David was called to come check on me. David is a very sweet and funny guy. This day he was called to me and came with his game face on. David asked to take my blood pressure. My BP was 282/204. David stepped back, looked at me, and then asked what was going on with me. I told him I felt fine it was my allergies. He then told me that I couldn't work and that I needed to be seen. I told him I would leave and go to the doctor and take my medicine. David left to go to the ED, he came back with a charge nurse and a wheelchair. He let me know how much he cared for me and didn’t want me to harm myself or anyone else driving. David let me know that at that time he just couldn't let me leave. He reiterated that I was a danger to myself and others with my BP that high. I ended up going to the ED with an abnormal EKG and blood work and I was admitted to the hospital. I and my family would LOVE to thank him for helping me help myself at another chance at life. David is an AMAZING Act Nurse, and EVERYONE needs to know. Because I had a mild heart attack with some damage and my heart is swollen.
