I was in the hospital for 13 days. David would come by and check on me even if I was not his assigned patient. He offered a distraction from being in the hospital. We found out that we have some common interests and he came in on his day off to play a tabletop board game for a couple of hours which is something I really enjoy. He is also an excellent nurse and a very good IV started. He really went above and beyond! Made my stay much more tolerable.
