I am nominating nurse David because of who he is alone, the passion that he carries, and he wears it naturally. When he entered my son’s room, everything changed for me and my family. His unique compassion made my family feel safe and reassured. His unique compassion comforted us and brought us joy. He saw how scared and concerned I was, he got down on one knee to be level with me and my son, and showed nothing but caring and love. The love he shared with my entire family was heartfelt. The words I am trying to come up with can’t even describe the experience we shared. He is a naturally incredible person. I was blessed that I was able to have him as my son’s nurse!
