David Patrick, Jr, RN

We recently lost a beloved teammate to a tragic accident. As one of our charge nurses, David really stepped up to support the staff. He was in contact over the weekend with RISE and with chaplaincy to make sure that support was available to staff. He coordinated a place for writing down feelings, and cards for the family and encouraged healthy grieving, and offered himself as a support. David has shown such compassion and empathy for everyone's grieving process. When you are with David you feel that you are in a safe space. He enters into your feelings and listens without judgment. David is a constant advocate for our team. He makes it clear that he cares about our emotional and mental well-being. I want him to know what a positive impact he has made on our team during this hard time.
