David is currently an ADN prepared nurse who just started a BSN completion program. He is a gentle and kind-hearted soul who effortlessly delivers an exceptional patient experience with intellectual curiosity and constantly demonstrates compassion and service to not only our patients, but also to the entire 5A team. David is frequently recognized by his patients for his kindness and compassion. David will celebrate his one year anniversary with Sherman this August and we look forward to many more anniversaries!

David was my night nurse when I was recovering from surgery. He was very kind and efficient. He knew that I was having trouble sleeping so he returned to my room after his rounds. We had great talks about the importance of family and faith in our lives. He asked if I would be interested in talking to other nursing staff who were breast cancer survivors. When the IV was removed my hand was sore and swollen. He remembered a recently learned technique using heat, not ice. It worked very well! He helped me through 2 really bad nights. His care left a memorable appreciation for nurses.
