I would like to thank my nurse David Salazar. He has made my first day in this facility very comfortable. The last few times I have tried to detox, I felt extremely judged. I felt like I was receiving unfair treatment because it was self-induced alcohol abuse. It really seems like he goes out of his way to display the Aspirus core values. He is very compassionate and an extremely good listener. He does not seem like he has a judgmental bone in his body. I have physically left other facilities before because I could feel the judgment. David is also a very good listener with more integrity and care than doctors twice his age. He answered all of my questions that I had about anything to complete understanding. David is very good at his job and his bedside manner is extremely on point. He never spoke down to me and made sure I knew everything that was going on. I believe the Wausau Aspirus is extremely blessed to have him as an employee and I hope under different circumstances he will be able to care for me again.
