He was very compassionate and attentive to mom's needs and concerns. He acted as if Mom were the only patient he had.
My mom was sent to the ER from her PCP with a blood sugar over 500 and a UTI. I had a lot of questions since I’m not really familiar with diabetes. As it turned out, after visiting with him and him explaining diabetes to me, Mom had not been getting enough insulin.
He explained very thorough how the pancreas works, what happens to the body when it gets high and stays that high for a period of time, answered every question with confidence, and explained everything so Mom and I understood.
He was very compassionate and attentive to mom's needs and concerns. He acted as if Mom were the only patient he had. My mom is 88, and I have been taking her to the ER and Dr. for years and have never seen a nurse so caring and who took the time to explain things as he did.
